When you open the box, you’ll see the two Cryptotag plates clipped together, a hammer, an anvil to hold the metal plates while stamping them, the letter stamps you’ll use to punch your seed phrase into these plates, as well as a bitholder to hold these stamping bits in place. The Cryptotag Thor is somewhat unique among premium metal wallet backups in that you don’t slot in letters to form your seed phrase. Instead, there are 24 engraved spaces, broken down into four separate boxes. Backing up the recovery phrase (12-24 words) on a simple piece of paper is dangerous. Fire and water can easily destroy this piece of paper. Even ink can fade and become illegible. With Cryptotag, the premium backup for your recovery phrase, this cannot happen to you! Forged from pure titanium, it is resistant to water and can withstand heat of up to 1665°C. Even the strongest force leaves the Cryptotag cold and because your recovery phrase is embossed with the included hammer, there is no ink that can fade.
